Recycling Plastic Bottles into Brooms

Recycling Plastic Bottles into Brooms

Environment-friendly recycling of products vary in sizes, some projects require an investment of millions of dollars, but it's the smaller initiatives that make the most difference because it changes the way we see the impact of wastage on the environment.
One of such small-scale project is using plastic bottles that are dumped in the wastage to make the brooms. First, these bottles are cleaned, the wrappers and labels are removed to start the recycling process.

The bottles are converted into threads by applying heat and using a rollerblade that cuts the plastic bottle into a thread of consistent thickness. These threads are quickly collected on machine operated rollers.
In two further steps, threads are going to be arranged and cut vertically to be fitted in the plastic frame of the broom. This initiative is a cost-effective business model for a small-scale recycling project as it is consuming waste and producing the consumer product that will further help in keeping the environment clean.
